Bless the Baby


Thank you for all your kind comments on The Bookshelf! I should be able to share the finished product in a couple of days.

Here is Lizzie Kate's "Bless the Baby" which I made for a friend's new daughter this past weekend. I took this picture before stuffing with fiberfill as a pillow. The backing is a soft pink fleece. The button, a bit hard to see here in this picture, is a little bunny. I love this design for a quick gift!

I've stitched this one before too - it is a quick stitch and yet a very meaningful keepsake. I've done it on banding before - very easy finishing!

Rachel - your Bless the Baby is adorable! I need to do some quick new baby projects and I think that would be great. I think I'll take Cathy's idea though and do them on banding.

Thanks for visiting my blog! The brown sofa (actually a futon) and blue walls were a happy accident. I had planned on getting a cover for both it and the matching chair, but now actually really like the combination. The room color is a robin's egg blue, so I think of it as a bird's nest.

And I finished the Sunflower House! I posted a picture on my blog this morning.
