ready for Spring!

Oh, I am so ready for real Spring weather, aren't you? I thought I might try to entice the daffodils to bloom and the leaves to green by pulling out this cheerful Prairie Schooler sampler, Spring Has Come. It has the most cheerful colors...

I'm enjoying stitching on it in a cozy chair with a brand new stitching lamp which is currently changing my life! It's amazing what good light can do.

I hope your weekend is pleasant as only a stitcher's can be. ~ Rachel

Hi Rachel,

It's my first time visiting your blog. What a lovely place to visit. I love your stitching, and Philo reminds me of our cat Julius - both orange tabbies. I was thinking of starting the PS Spring sampler as well. Yours is looking great!

Your blog is lovely. I just started Spring Has Come also. Matter of fact, just taking a little break from it to refresh my coffee and check my computer. Look at my blog...see the eggs in the banner pic on the right side? I think I have the same print that you have hanging in my living room.

You've made a good start Rachel.I love all the little samplers that Prairie Schooler has been designing in recent years. We are having beautiful weather in the southwest and spent all weekend working in the backyard. Hope spring arrives soon for you!

That is a seriously cozy, comfortable stitching place! And your new PS project looks very tempting. It would go very well with Birdsong II... Oh no! Dangerous thoughts indeed :o)

Do you think we could hurry Spring along if we all start stitching this design at once? I am so ready for winter to be over that I'd be willing to try! lol

Congrats on your new lamp. Oh what a difference that must make in your cross stitching chair.

I love your new spring start! PS does the nicest samplers. Your new lamp looks great. I bought a Daylight floor lamp a few years ago and you're right--they do change your life! :) My mom in northern Delaware reports that the crocuses are popping--hope they are in Philly, too!
