first stitching projects of the summer

I have some very summery projects from last year's line by Blackbird Designs that I am going to begin this week: Sunflower House and Sunflower Charms. The colors are very vibrant and should be a joy to stitch.




I'm also going to work on the delightful Little House Needlework chart, "The Bookshelf." This will look nice in our home, I think.


These are kitted up and ready to go- I may post progress pics here in time.

Hello Donna! I have been enjoying your blog for some time now - I finally got a cross stitch blog of my own so I could start communicating with the stitching community! By the way, I was born and raised in Knoxville. I still miss Tennessee, especially now when all the dogwoods are out.

oh, yes, I think that stitching the Blackbirds Designs pattern should be funny, it looks a great pattern!! Enjoy!
