Autumn Blessings
I received this wonderful pay it forward gift from Wendy in the mail recently. I just love the colors in the design and the expert finishing. Thank you again, Wendy! Such a lovely and unexpected treat to brighten up my autumn.
The fall colors have been absolutely gorgeous here in Philadelphia the past few weeks. I snapped these pictures of the beautiful hill across from our apartment complex this morning. I fear that all the rain we are getting this evening may knock a lot of leaves off the trees. Such swiftly fading splendor.
And lastly is a picture of my sweet and silly Philo, who loves to squeeze himself into a wee basket on our table.
We are traveling to some dear friends' home in Ohio for Thanksgiving. They live on an apple orchard-- we are looking forward to lovely walks outside among the trees and lots of apple cider! I hope your Thanksgiving is bountiful and blessed.

What a beautiful Autumn gift you received. You must really enjoy looking at it.
Aren't the colors of Autumn gorgeous? Mother Nature is an artist like no other.
And, what can I say about Philo? He is just adorable. Oh I love kitties! Give him a Thanksgiving hug from me, and have fun in Ohio.

Beautiful fall pictures - all the leaves are gone from our trees! We've had snow flurries the past two days!
Have a nice weekend!
I love your finishing, fabrics are very suit well for the design!
Congratulations!
In France we have a proverb saying “No news = Good news”, but it’s not always true. I just spend a week-end “off” at home after two weeks in hospital. Tomorrow I have an apointment with a new surgeon, who have to decide if I can bear a very hard surgery. The problem is that the state of my limbs doesn’t allow a long surgery. So the problem is without end... My bones are ill and cannot be cured without surgery...
I could cross stitch in the hospital when I was not too tired and when there was enough light. But what a pity not to be able to iron the items and put them in a finishing presentation!
So our Christmas will be a quiet (hopeful not to painful) in hospital for me, and for my family, it's a joy that the children do their best to create a festive atmosphere at home yet.Blandine, our daughter, made a wonderful crown of greenery, under my sister’s teaching, to decorate our home at this festive season. It has 4 candles. We lit up the first one this morning for the 1st Advent Sunday.. We also found some typical Alsatian gingerbreads. My sister and many friends are very keen to help my family and are bound in prayer for me. That’s one among other blessings under heaven.
I'm very sorry not to be able to exchange little gifts with my blogger friends this year, but I must accept it.
God bless you richly.
Take care
Teresa
Merry Christmas to you xx
