a bit more birdsong II
Hi friends, thanks for your many kind comments on my last post! I continue to stitch away on this bright and fun sampler. I now have the wording and the border finished up, and just have a few other bits to complete. I made Autumn Leaves into a flatfold, and plan to do the same with this one.
I had promised you a bit of news, which is that my husband has accepted the offer to study for his doctorate at Villanova University here in Philadelphia, and we are so excited that he will be able finally to realize this dream. I am thankful that we will enter a season of more or less stability in knowing where he will be for the next 5 years! I blogged a little bit about it yesterday on my family blog, Vox. Many thanks to everyone who has cheered us on through this process! We give God all the glory and are very grateful for His blessings.
Love & Stitches,
Rachel
