Welcome, Spring!




Goodness, it has been far too long since I've posted an update. Life has been busy indeed! This is a short little post to show you some pictures of my last finish and progress pics of the two I am working on right now. I haven't had a lot of time for stitching in the last month but I am still enjoying these pieces little by little. I am working on Birdsong II by Prairie Schooler (sorry for the crooked scan!) and Quaker House Samplers by Carriage House Samplings. I also finished up Schoolgirl Lessons by LHN.

It is still cold in Philly but SPRING is definitely on the way. I hope everyone has some special plans for Easter. We have our sister in town and are looking forward to going to a Frida Kahlo exhibit tomorrow at the Philadelphia Museum of Art. I'll be back soon with some updates about my husband's grad school plans...

I just came across your blog through the With Needle and Thread blog and had to tell you how much I enjoyed it. I especially liked the pictures on the right side, they look like paintings, very nice touch. Your finishing looks lovely. Have a nice Easter!

Hello Rachel! All three are beautiful, and you can definitely see all the TLC in your stitches. Thanks for sharing them.

Your LHN finished piece is very lovely!
And some progress photos are already beautiful!
I like CHS Quaker Houses, your photo remind me that I have the same pattern in my stash!
Oh I want to stitch it soon if it's possible! But first I should finish my WIPs, lol!
