Februrary snow





We had a big pile o' snow last evening, and two of my morning appointments cancelled due to the weather, so I have just a few moments to make a post here today. Here are some pictures that I snapped from my apartment windows. Everything is beautiful with a blanket of white and the bright sun shining.

At the top is a picture of a Valentine's Lizzie Kate in progress. I still need to stitch up the border and finish but I am pleased with the color changes. This is stitched on 28 ct. Mocha Java by Sassy's Fabbys.

The snow looks pretty, we have snow patches here and there. I want to move somewhere warmer! I don't like being cold, neither does my husband. When the girls are in college, I want to move to my husband's hometown in Australia. Or to the mid-west...

Nice progress on the LK, how are you going to finish it?

I am leaving the NE and will miss all that snow. :) My son however is in Bryn Mawr, PA and keeps me posted on all that snow!

I go with what Dani says about snow. I love to see it on pictures and in my stitching but not in real life, lol.

I have not lived in the snow belt for some time do not miss the cold but always enjoy seeing pictures of the white stuff.

How adorable is your Lizzie*Kate piece - it's very pretty. :)

Love your snow photos too! The UK has been covered in snow this week - the most in 25 years, but we managed to avoid most of it in the west of Scotland!
