I'm in love: Crab-Apple Hill

Yesterday I spied an adorable embroidered tea towel pattern at Mary Kathryn's blog, and immediately went scouting to find the source: Crab-Apple Hill Studio. I fell in love with what I found there and left a comment for MK to that effect. This morning there was a happy announcment in my email from her that she will be adding this designer to her product line at eHandcrafts online. This is a fantastic collection of cottage-style embroidery, wool-applique, and patchwork designs.

All these photos taken directly from the Crab-Apple Hill website.

Beautiful for sure :) BUT I'm limited to one craft per my DH :)
Soooooo....unless I sell my entire library of cross stitch stuff it's a no go for me :) LOL!

This is so in line with what I'm inspired by at the minute - I can see me spending more than a few $$s at MK's online shop! Thanks so much for sharing the news Rachel :)

Yes, Yes, Yes I agree this is a great designer. I have a few of these patters, as she is popular in the "quilt world" and I see them (and buy them :}) at quilt shows.
Not only are the designs great, but the contact/service are second to none at Crab Apple Hill! :D

Oooh yes! I've been admiring the goodies from this company for a while now. Wonderful news that they will be available from Mary Kathryn's online shop.
After 15 + years of cross stitching I'm now leaning more and more towards quilting and especially designs that incorporate Redwork or stitchery type embroideries.
I love the pears and the pincushion.

The items you show are very beautiful indeed. I'm very eager what other designers create. If you go to my blog today (June 6) you'll see that I'm launching my own enterprise to use crafts and cross stitch to bear testimony to the love of God and to His word: http://latelierdelacolombe.com Altough I'm working voluntarily I've been a full day worker, at least for the two last months and it will go on. Owing this "business" I sell charts and kits, but also I'll show my large Bible cross stitched pannels on exhibitions and I'll hold workshops, all this most often in churches.
Best wishes for a blessed week to you.
